Education is the prime need of present moment that dos cards the darkness of ignorance and enlightens the mind and spirit. Education for all is a call of the hour, an utmost necessity.

The aim of Education is:

  • To impart knowledge;
  • To develop intellectual activities;
  • To acquire skills;
  • To promote team-spirit;
  • To imbibe self- confidence for career- building;
  • To teach and preach universal human values like love, friendship, brotherhood, sacrifice, non-violence, respect to all etc.;
  • To built-up character;
  • A “commitment to do well” to the society.

Magnificent career always begins with a focussed mind. So, a young and inquisitive student overcomes all hurdles with his talent, firm will-power, unshaken confidence and incessant effort. Consequently he stands at the doorway of ‘success’ and his life’s Dream is full-filled.

“Today’s children are tomorrow’s citizens.” Therefore, their all-round development is a prime necessity and school is the proper field for the plantation of this seed. With this vision St. Xavier high school, Gopa, Kendrapara started functioning in the year 2010 which has become a full-fledged institution by now. Since its inception its chief objective is to create a healthy academic environment, to promote co-curricular, cultural and other allied activities, to build up the career of students and to enable them to face challenges of life. Apart from textual studies, the Teachers inspire the students to ‘be good’ and ‘do good’.  Truly they are the ‘Torch-Bearers’ to enlighten the young-minds in teaching them moral values like co-operation, dedication, devotion, honesty, truth, patriotism, fellow-feelings, good-will etc. One is called truly educated only when his education benefits people of large and brings their transformation to a better state.

Finally the trust that runs this institution is named after the sacred Name of SRI SATYA SAI BABA the “Divine Being”, whose motto is—

     Hands that serve are holier than lips that pray.

The name of the trust is “Sri Sai sworoop charitable trust.”  We the members, connected to the trust in particular and school in general, are fully committed to render service to the society with all sincerity, dedication and devotion.

Finally, I owe my earnest gratitude to Lord Sri siddha Baladev Jew, the ‘prime deity’ of Kendrapara, whose blessings live behind the growth and progress of this institution. Also I am grateful and thankful to all, those who have either directly or indirectly supported us for its growth and development. I wish this institution to have a bright future and “long-life”.

Service to humanity is service to God.
